LIMEWASH PERFECTION! This is my second review because I have hired Jose and his team two times now for various painting projects in my NYC apartment. The first project was traditional paint, and this review is for lime wash that they just did in my home office/guestroom. The lime washed room is my favorite room in my entire apartment. It is so incredibly calming, and so soothing, and every time I have a guest over they never want to leave. It has inspired other people to lime wash their apartments as well. And as I write this review, I am preparing for Jose and his team to come and redo my bedroom in a lime wash finish as well. Lime wash is pricier than traditional finish paint, However, it is a remarkable difference in texture, aesthetic, appearance, and the overall mood/vibe of your room. They came in and repaired multiple areas of damage from me attempting to hang shelves on my walls, Took the curtains down, took all the fixtures off, and prepared the wall by making sure they were perfectly smooth and even, which, you would be surprised how much they weren't, but that is a true testament to the meticulous work that Pristine Painters NYC does. After that, they did the basecoat and then two coats of lime wash, and then they finished it with traditional finish paint - color matched to match the lime wash which went on the ceiling, trims, and doors. They reinstalled all of the hardware, door handles, re-hung the curtains, and made sure everything was perfect. And that is why I will hire them for every Painting project that I do. They are dependable, seamless, and I do not have to worry about anything. All of the professional painters on his team are kind, respectable of my home environment, efficient, and highly skilled at what they do. I know there’s a lot of painters in the NYC area, and I have hired task rabbits for other jobs, and I have tried to do it myself many times, but nothing can compare to having Pristine Painters NYC come in and do what they are so good at doing.

I had a really great experience with this painting company. They are affordable and I really like this concept “painters for a day”. They are genuinely good people and I appreciated that they showed the receipt for materials like paint and supplies. They had all the proper insurance in place to send to my building management and the quality of their work is excellent. You can tell they take pride in what they do—it really felt like they worked from the heart. In time, professional, and easy to communicate with - they spoke clear English, which isn’t always the case. I def recommend them.
