I've watched our wedding video three times already and a huge part of that is because of this performance.

I don't think my guests understood what they were walking into. Alex read the room from the very first song and did not let up for a single second. Every hit, every transition, every musician, every moment — it was flawless. It didn't feel like a vendor. It felt like someone who actually cared about making our night unforgettable.

Alex and Amir provided hybrid music (live musicians + DJ) for our 150-person black-tie wedding on Long Island in December 2025, and they truly lived up to—and surpassed—the hype.

While communication was a bit delayed earlier on (we booked almost a year in advance and really connected about final details a week or two before the wedding for payments, ceremony songs, planned dances, and overall vibe), once the day arrived it was clear we were in expert hands.

The setlist was absolutely perfect from start to finish. As the bride, I genuinely did not leave the dance floor all night—except for the occasional cup of water. The energy was 10/10. The live musicians were SO fun and interactive with our guests, creating a unique, high-energy experience that felt elevated and unforgettable.

Alex DJ’d that night and absolutely delivered—reading the crowd flawlessly and playing hit after hit. When the evening transitioned into the afterparty and shifted to DJ-only, the momentum never dipped.

We received endless compliments from our guests, who all noted how much they loved the music—from older guests to young adults and teens, everyone had an amazing time. That kind of universal appeal is hard to pull off, and Alex and Amir nailed it.

If you and your partner love to dance and want a true party, I cannot recommend Alex and Amir enough. We would absolutely work with them again and look forward to doing so in the future.

Amir is one of a kind. We could not have had such an amazing wedding without him. He played three sets non-stop from 9 PM until 1:15 AM, and none of our guests wanted to leave the dance floor. His music selection and vision are truly legendary. His live musicians—including the violinist, trumpet player, saxophone player, and percussionist/hand drummer—were outstanding and elevated the energy of the night. We received so many compliments from our guests; many said this was the best wedding they had ever attended. Amir has a remarkable vision and works tirelessly to make sure your wedding or event is perfect. I would not trust another DJ with a 700+ person wedding.

We were so excited to work with Alex & Amir for our wedding a few weeks ago, and even more excited to share that they DELIVERED an absolutely unforgettable musical experience that left us and our guests in awe!

When it came to selecting the right entertainment for our wedding, it was really important to us to find a group that could play a mix of styles and languages for our mixed Persian and American crowd. With Amir as the talented DJ alongside the incredible 8-piece band, their talents together made our wedding truly magical. They looked SOOO good and sounded even better.

From the moment the music started, they set the tone for an unforgettable and high energy evening. Amir seamlessly mixed tracks and kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night. Literally nobody was sitting - the dance floor was always packed. The chemistry among the band members was also amazing, and it translated into an incredible stage presence. They played with passion, energy, and TALENT, effortlessly transitioning from one song to another and getting in the mix with our guests on the dance floor. Whether it was traditional Persian music, dance music, throwbacks, or international hits, their versatility and ability to read the room was so impressive. I also really appreciated Amir’s careful attention to us as the bride and groom - inviting us onto the stage to dance and at one point even finding me at the bar to summon me back to the dance floor so that I didn’t miss out on a song I had asked for.

We are so grateful and cannot recommend Alex & Amir highly enough for anyone seeking excellent entertainment for their special occasion. If my word isn’t enough, the messages from our guests after the wedding speak volumes about their performance: "I felt their voices in my soul”, "Best band I've ever seen”, “the band was hands down the best band we have ever seen we are obsessed". We are truly obsessed and I’m already brainstorming what major life events we can hire them again for. We love you guys - thank you again!
