Datacillin (formerly Amnet Data Solutions) is a top notch lab for recovering the most challenging hard drive failures. I dropped a critical data laptop running to catch a flight in Zurich. Swiss data recovery shops did not have sufficiently sophisticated software for the recovery operation. Local US repair centers were able but at a rate that was unacceptable (4x of what Datacillin charged me). So I went to Kevin Afghani at Datacillin and in one week, my entire hard drive was recovered and restored to my laptop on a new SSD drive. The damage to my drive was nearly irreparable, but Kevin and his team found a way to do it. They are, in my humble opinion, the best data recovery people around. Well done Datacillin.
I dropped an external hard drive and was unaware that the drive was damaged. I tried to use the drive and after several tries was unable to get data off it and by using it made matters worse. This drive contained the only copies of some very precious photos. I called around to several data recovery services in NYC. Amnet had good online reviews, was close to my office and Kevin, who answered the phone, seemed knowledgeable and friendly. Amnet quoted more affordable prices than some of the other places I called and lastly, they were NOT going to ship my already broken drive out somewhere across the country to be worked on. Kevin and his team successfully recovered my valuable photos. Kevin kept me updated throughout the process, was easy going, soothing, and gave me a lot of support and advice. I love this company and while I hope I do not need their services again, would not hesitate to return! I'm very grateful to them.
These guys really know computers. I have used them for many years and they always get the problem fixed for a reasonable cost. Most recent problem was with a fan running loud on a laptop I really love and don't want to replace. It required both a new part AND some jiggling with a software glitch on this particular model that they researched, found, and solved. If you're lucky enough to be near East 54th Street, don't trust your computers to anybody else.
I am an IT professional with more than 20 years experience in business working in health care environment. I had crashed server with a raid 5 controller that I needed to recover the data. I took the server to number of data recovery places and they all failed to recover my data.
However Amnet professional recovery service managed to recover all the data with no loss. In my professional opinion their service and customer support is excellent and I would highly recommend their services.
I highly recommend Amnet Data Solutions. They have helped me a couple of occasions to recover data, clean up my computer and get rid of viruses. They pointed the problems right away, and fixed them right on time.
