Hiring Atomic Funk Project for our wedding was the BEST decision. Sariah was incredibly helpful throughout the whole lead-up to the wedding, answering any and all questions. She worked seamlessly with our venue to coordinate all the day-of details, and we didn't have to worry about a thing.
The musicians for our ceremony did beautiful, tear-jerking renditions of Sunshine On My Shoulders and Blackbird, the cocktail hour duo created the perfect ambiance, and I'm not even sure how to begin to describe the reception. Our MC, Julia, was fantastic - she was so organized checking in with us throughout the evening so that we were in the loop on the progression of the night with speeches and breaks, and she was so kind in addition to her talent. Our vocalists, Brandi, Scott, and Helen - WOW. They were all so incredibly gifted, and brought so much energy to the reception. None of our guests wanted to leave the dance floor, and Scott worked the room so well with his dance moves. Their song choices were perfect - they totally captured the vibe we wanted, and spanned the generations perfectly so that everyone in attendance wanted to be up and dancing. I can't recommend Atomic Funk Project enough!!
Atomic Funk Project played for my wedding and they are incredible! They played for my sister's wedding a few years ago and when we picked our date I didn't even consider other bands. I just wanted to know if AFP was available. Sariah was incredibly easy to work with throughout the planning process and the musicians are so incredibly talented. They kept the vibes high throughout the entire night and were truly a highlight of the wedding. Everyone we talked to about the wedding commented, "The band is amazing!" Highly recommend!
Atomic Funk Project played at my daughter's wedding recently. WE LOVED THEM! I cannot express how much energy this band has. The dance floor was full the entire evening. The song selection, their unbelievable voices and the lead singer's dance moves - just amazing! Thank you for making this such an incredible and memorable evening. 5 stars isn't enough for this band!
Booking Atomic Funk Project as our wedding was truly one of the best decisions we made. From the beginning, our top priority was having a lively band to get the party going. After researching many local New York bands, we were invited to an AFP Showcase where the band put their talents on full display. As soon as we heard the caliber of the musicians, the voices and passion of the singers, their electric energy, and the range of types of songs they were performing, we were sold.
Once we moved into planning stages, we had the pleasure of working with Sariah to answer all of our questions. Sariah was incredibly helpful, positive and supportive every step of the way. The team worked with us to choose all of our favorite songs, styles of music and favorite artists, so we went into our wedding day feeling confident that they would knock it out of the park.
From start to finish, the process was seamless! The band truly exceeded our expectations - energetic and extremely musically talented! So many of our guests complimented the band as one of their favorite parts of the wedding - and we agree!! Our onsite coordinator Julia really brought the energy in MC-ing. A total rockstar!!
We also ended up booking a strings trio for our ceremony through Atomic Funk Project – we loved the ease of having one vendor handle all of our music. They did an amazing job bringing our Bridgerton-inspired music to life for the ceremony portion.
AFP were incredible partners that made the process very easy from start to finish. Would recommend to any couple looking for immaculate vibes with amazing people.
Atomic Funk Project MADE our wedding EPIC. Truly, the vibe was unmatched and the energy stayed high all night long. From the first note to the final song, they delivered an unforgettable performance that had every single guest on the dance floor—and kept them there.
What blew us away was not just how incredibly they played (they sounded amazing), but how much fun they seemed to be having, too. It felt like a celebration for them as much as it was for us. Their joy and talent were infectious.
When my wife and I look back on our anniversary and rewatch our wedding video, Atomic Funk will be front and center in those memories. We are so deeply grateful for the role they played in making the night what it was—absolutely electric.
