Jason at Avis deserves all the recognition — truly 5 stars all around! He’s only been with the company- and in NYC- for about a year, but you would truly think he was born and raised here. As someone who’s actually from New York, I was shocked by how many new things he taught me about the city. He gave us amazing recommendations, hidden gems, and even helped us plan ideas for our next free weekend. He also taught us President’s Club members something about our frequent rentals.
Beyond being incredibly knowledgeable, Jason is so friendly, kind, and welcoming that he made the entire rental experience memorable. He’s clearly educated about the city, genuinely enjoys helping people, and as a bonus, he loves pups too - which immediately made us love him even more. If you happen to come across Jason at any Avis location in NYC, consider yourself lucky. Thanks Jason!
I needed to rent an SUV on short notice, and the Avis location at 225 East 43rd Street was one of the few places with availability. While the line took about 10 minutes, Hassan promptly acknowledged me with a warm greeting and a smile, which immediately stood out.
When it was my turn, Hassan provided exceptional service. His professionalism, attentiveness, and friendly demeanor made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. He truly made me feel like a valued customer.
Despite the congestion fee required to access this area, I would gladly return to this location because of the outstanding service Hassan provided. I hope he receives the recognition he deserves.

AVIS saved the day! I have been using the 43rd street location for YEARS and YEARS as I live in the midtown east neighborhood. Avis has been my go to for many reasons. 1. Great Service 2. Great Cars 3. Great Staff 4. Great Pricing. I have always received great customer service and would like to compliment the staff for always taking the extra steps to make the experience of renting from AVIS smooth and easy. I would like to acknowledge the following AVIS staff members for going way over and above to ensure my satisfaction.
