When we decided to repaint our room, we realized it was also time to refresh the upholstery on our bed, which no longer matched our updated style and vision.
After some careful research on Perplexity, I found Jerry Ehrlich and his company, Upholstery & Design Workroom, and reached out right away. Jerry was incredibly responsive and professional—after I sent photos and measurements of the bed, he immediately guided me through the yardage requirements and even recommended a reliable company to handle the pick-up and delivery.
I knew that reupholstering a large piece typically takes four to six weeks, but Jerry understood my time constraints and generously agreed to complete it within a week. And he delivered!
To say that he and his team did a great job would be an understatement. We chose a beautiful Highland plaid wool fabric that, in hindsight, must have been quite challenging to upholster. Yet the craftsmanship is nothing short of exceptional—the plaids align perfectly across the drawers and footboard, creating the illusion of a seamless, continuous pattern. Every detail reflects their skill, precision, and artistry.
We’re beyond impressed with the quality, professionalism, turnaround time, and fair pricing. Jerry and his team transformed our bed into a chic, elevated centerpiece that perfectly complements our space. If I could leave 10 stars instead of 5, I would! Fernando’s has created the most exquisite upholstery pieces for me including 2 oversized sectionals, recovering and totally transforming multiple sofas and pairs of vintage chairs, building a large leather upholstered kitchen banquette, and more projects currently in the works. The quality of the workmanship is superb and the whole team is wonderful to work with. Great communication all along the process. I can’t recommend them enough!
