I’ve been coming to this studio for the last couple of months for sexy floor work and sexy heels classes with Kimmie on Tuesdays and sexy floor work with Callie on Saturdays. I absolutely love both of their energy and the classes are soooo much fun. The choreography is so cute and sexy and the community is so supportive. I love everything about this studio and recommend this studio for anyone who wants to get back into dancing or is just starting!! This has become my regular studio and it’s genuinely something I look forward to all week 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Was my first time doing a dance class in years and first time doing a heels class! I had an absolute blast. Such an encouraging a safe environment. Studio is very clean and beautiful. Callie was an incredible instructor! Sign up now!

I’ve taken two different classes at Free Mind - one with Kim and the other with Desi - both were fantastic and I ended up bringing two of my friends along for the booty basics class this past week. Both loved the experience and will also be coming back! Truly such a kind and open space that attracts so many lovely people.

I've had a mostly great experience with this place so far! The instructors are all fun and super friendly, and you can tell that they've all created a really welcoming and vibey community amongst them. The dances are fun and I love being able to hang in a judgement free space. I do have two thoughts on how improvements can be made. The first is that there should be a lower cap on # of attendees. I went to a class recently that had so many people that I couldn't even see the instructor at the front of the class, and because of that, it took me extra time to learn the dance (couldn't really see what was going on). Would love to have had more room to move around and also see myself in the mirror too, as that helps to learn the moves! Also, I'm more saying this part on behalf of my friend, but we attended a class recently and she became very upset when she saw that we were being filmed without her permission. She left the class in tears and said she never wanted to go back to the studio again, for this reason. I totally get that filming is important for building a social media presence etc., but I do agree that filming the class is something that the instructor should ask the students' permission to do, rather than assuming that everyone's okay with it. Loved my experience beside this, but just felt it was important to share that! I'll def be coming back -- already bought a class pack! :)

The femme choreo class was so fun. We did a small warm-up and stretch and the Choreo was really easy, it was to the song kiss from Demi Lovato. I haven’t had a dance class in probably 15 years but I was able to keep up and actually do a decent job. There were about five other people in the class, which was nice. It gave a lot of space for Every one and at the end you have a chance to record yourself, which is fun. There’s also a lot of community. They were having a viewing party on Saturday and next Saturday was a birthday benefit party. We had small intros at the beginning and asked one ice breaker.

My only criticism is that it’s not easy to figure out how to get in the building. I entered on Johnson Avenue. I’m not sure if that was the right entrance, but someone opened the door and then I went up to flights and luckily again someone was leaving and open the door otherwise I don’t know how I would have gotten in. They send automatic text through class pass however they should include directions on getting in the building in that text, that would be very helpful.
