Avoid! Go somewhere else. After talking with the owner on the phone we shipped several consoles to be repaired. They were slow to respond and then said then didnt have the tech to repair them. He wouldnt even pay the return shipping and was very rude.
Fantastic experience at the shop today! Russell was very friendly and communicated the process from start to finish. My phone screen cracked and he managed to replace it the same day! Awesome
Very disappointed. Surprise $75 "diagnosis fee" that wasn't communicated until I took the trip in-person. I was very specific with what I needed done on my Steam deck, but they "needed to fully disassemble" it, only to diagnosis the exact issue I specifically said I had. And then charges $175 for a job that Xcubicle could have done for less. Don't make my mistake and just work through Valve or a different, more transparent shop.
I brought in a laptop and external storage drive that had somehow croaked simultaneously, taking my data with them. The guys at iFix went through the options we had to recover the data and repair the laptop, and after running some diagnostics, they called and made sure I was OK with the (reasonable) prices before proceeding. A couple days later, I had the data back and a new hard drive installed. When I came to pick everything up, the technician came upstairs, explained the setup to me, and patiently answered my questions as though he didn't have a bunch of other repairs to get to, although I'm sure he did. I will continue to use iFix for tech repair and recommend them.
They did a great job fixing my iPhone X! I was doing so well for almost 8 years until I dropped it when it was out of its case and the back glass cracked. The Apple store wouldn't fix it because it's out of date. It really made my day when they said they could fix it. These guys did it on a time crunch and it's good as new. It'll last me more good years to come. Thank you!
