I got 3 estimates from different Iron companies to do some work at my brownstone home and decided to go with J&D. From the very first consult appointment with Fernando he was prompt, professional and remained that way through the entire job. I needed him to upgrade my front basement security gate from locking with a slide bar and pad lock to one with a door nob and key lock adding mesh screening welded to the gate. I also needed him to fabricate a storm hatch for my rear basement entrance. We discussed ideas, agreed to a plan and his pricing was fair. The job was completed to my satisfaction and it was done in a timely manner. Fernando was a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend J&D Iron Works!
