When a major summer storm knocked out electric and phone lines across the entire county, we were happy our generator kicked in. Unfortunately, after a few days it failed leaving my 97-year-old mother without power for critical air conditioning and other essentials. Despite the high demand from others for assistance, Chris at National Standby Repair was able to get a service technician to the house within 3 hours (even having to trek around downed power lines and a large tree to get there). A necessary part was not in stock, but National Standby went the extra yard calling around to find the part more quickly and they were able to get the generator up and running the next day.
