Fast, friendly and they know their stuff. After a software update went awry I thought I'd lost some really important data but they recovered all my files and my lap top is back in business. I've been using their service for laptop repairs for the last 4 years and I've never been disappointed. Highly recommend.
This place was exceptionally helpful, professional, and fair, and I could not be more happy with the experience. I went in with a minor issue with a loose key on my laptop keyboard. When I told them I needed it done quickly, they said they could get it done in the next thirty minutes and they did not charge me, saying that it was too minor of a repair to do so. The process was painless, easy, and extraordinarily smooth. I highly recommend for any computer issues!
These people are amazing. Cloned all my data from my damaged computer and upgraded me to a beautiful much newer refurbushed one in a day and a half. They are super diagnostitans, excellent technicians, extremely communicative, fully transparent, honest and just really nice! Hope they stay in business forever.
They are cordial and have a quick turnaround time... However, I brought my water damaged phone, and they told me after a day that the device cannot be repaired, and only data recovery could be performed with a quote of $400. I took my device back and opened the back myself, and did a very surface level cleaning with alcohol, and I was able to turn the device back on. Which made me doubt that their “diagnosis” with the quote of $400 was to just make easy money without the hassle of an actual repair or even proper diagnostics of what was damaged. I recommend everyone getting a second opinion somewhere else before deciding to spend your money here.
On a recent visit from London, I had an absolutely brilliant customer service experience with New York Computer Help in Midtown Manhattan, when I suffered a screen break on my aging laptop and felt compelled to leave a review.
I was leaving the country Friday the same week, so time was really not on my side. They immediately appreciated my need for speed and genuinely went out of their way to help — even prioritising my device ahead of other jobs, which I hugely appreciated.
They properly checked over my laptop to diagnose the issue and then clearly talked me through two solutions: one quick fix and another more thorough option that would take a bit longer. No pressure, no upselling — just honest, practical advice. I opted for the quick fix deciding to replace the laptop.
The team were friendly, easy to chat to, and after the data transfer, gave me the time and space to test everything myself, which meant I left feeling genuinely confident that it was sorted and working properly (a good feeling before an international flight without the bother when I got back to the UK!)
What really sets them apart, though, was the aftercare. They followed up to check how the laptop was performing and didn’t leave me hanging when a minor issue cropped up after I returned to the UK — they took care of it without fuss.
Proper service, start to finish. I would absolutely recommend New York Computer Help and wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for all my IT needs.
