I contacted the shop after a Google search with many positive reviews. I had the great pleasure of Eli answering the phone and within 10 minutes with a few photos sent to him , I had a phone call and a very fair quote. We arranged a pick up for a few days later and I explained there was a good chance I would have to leave town at any moment and without hesitation or me even asking Eli said he would have my little stool back within days and he did. What struck me most was he cared that this little Etsy find look as good as possible and he took a sow’s ear and made it into a silk purse as they say. I have found my new source for upholstery for me and my friends and clients and I urge everyone to use this kind and humble service who truly cares in a world where so many do not. Thank you new friend Eli !!
They did a great job replacing the vinyl on our four dining chairs, and took less than a week to complete the work! The chairs look completely refreshed and we are very happy with them.
I used this service they were very professional and paid attention to detail. They also corrected some minor details after delivery. I would definately use them agsin. Their work is same if not better than the original pattern of your item.

I’m extremely happy with everything about my experience with Reupholstery NYC. I visited their workshop in Sunset Park as a walk-in. I told Eli that I was looking to reupholster an old chair and the kind of fabric I wanted and he showed me as selection of fabrics matching what I was looking for. He gave me an accurate estimate and stuck to it and promised it in “a couple le of weeks”. I was expecting a month or more. I had my chair back in 15 days! It is beautiful (see before and after photos)! The price was right, the service was friendly and helpful, and they offer pick-up and delivery. I couldn’t be more pleased. I’m already planning another job for them.
