Our family will forever be grateful for our lawyer Brooke Balterman. My dad went through a frightening and distressing experience after his cancer was missed due to medical malpractice (something that could have cost him his life). Thankfully, he is still with us today, and a huge part of that relief and closure comes from Brooke’s guidance and relentless advocacy.
From the very beginning, Brooke believed in our case and never once made us feel like a burden. No matter how busy she was with court or her caseload, she always took the time to answer our questions and reassure my dad, who can be very worrisome. She walked him through every step of the process with patience and compassion, making sure he understood what was happening and never felt alone.
Brooke wasn’t just reliable and straightforward (always keeping her word and fighting tirelessly for what she knew my dad deserved) she was also warm and personable, making us feel like she was part of our family. She included both me and my sister in everything, ensuring we felt supported as a family, not just as clients.
What stood out most was how much she genuinely cared. This was never just a job to her. She went above and beyond, looking out for my dad’s well-being and making sure we felt whole as a family through such a difficult time. She never settled or took the easy route; she fought until justice was truly served.
Though this was an unfortunate and painful chapter in our lives, we couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us through it. Brooke was a breath of fresh air in the middle of such a dark period, and we couldn’t have done this without her.
