This company is my hero! Was struggling the day of my sofa delivery as it clearly wasn’t going to fit through the doors of my small manhattan apartment.
I called three companies and these guys got here in only 30 minutes.. were knowledgeable, quick, and solved my problem immediately. Incredible customer service.

We needed to move our Room & Board sofa into the basement, but it wouldn't fit through the door — a frustrating situation we didn't know how to get out of. Sofa Fitters completely turned it around.
Mark handled the estimate and already knew the nuances of Room & Board sofas, which gave us confidence from the start. He provided excellent, fair pricing. The crew that came out was on time, professional, and did exceptional work — so clean we genuinely couldn't tell anything had been disassembled. As a bonus, they also repaired a previously pulled section of fabric in the process, which we hadn't even asked for.

This is the best couch doctor I could recommend in the city. We bought a Restoration Hardware couch without checking if it would fit in our apartment buildings freight elevator and to our dismay it did not. However I called Mark and he sent his team and they showed up within the hour. They were able to quickly disassemble and reassemble our couch without fail. Mike and team were fast, clean and professional and I would highly recommend them anytime anyone needs to fit their couch through the small NYC hallways/elevators!
I moved into a new apartment and the movers weren’t able to fit my couch into the living room. Luckily I found NYC sofa fitters! They came through in about 2 hours, disassembled my couch, and put it back together in my living room. They did a clean, professional, and thorough job. Highly recommend!
