I’ve taken classes here on and off for years. It’s improved so much from when they were located in a little basement studio! Their current studio has lots of windows. Fear free drawing and portrait drawing have both been great. Two different instructors (including Luke) have been very professional and helpful with instruction. I did try one online portrait drawing class and I felt the in person one was significantly better
I really love taking classes with Anna and Carly, both of them were super inspiring and I learned a lot. Definitely I will take more classes at the Art Studio NYC.
I loved my experience at the Art Studio NY so much that I signed up for another class. Our instructor Anna is simply divine. She is a great teacher and has a lovely manner. Erika W
The Art Studio NY is an extraordinary home for all artists and budding creatives! Rebecca and her cadre of colleagues teach with generosity, openness and compassion, helping students to find their styles, to push themselves, and to discover not only what they can create but who they are. Rebecca and her colleagues build confidence, creativity and community. My life is SO wonderfully enriched by my participation in these amazing classes! Here’s a sampling of the fun I’ve been having in The Art Studio NY classes 😊
We had such a wonderful experience with the Art Studio, taking a private family class in Central Park! We only had two days in the city and had a set itinerary and Kaspar was so communicative and flexible in setting up the specific day and time that I had open. He was also generous in doing a zoom meeting to discuss what we wanted to get out of the class and where we wanted to do it, also considering back up plans at a museum if weather didn’t cooperate (but luckily it did). Our instructor/artist, Clem, was very understanding when we were a few minutes late and had the perfect set up with a beautiful view for us to paint and even a sax musician was playing in the background. It was magical. Clem was super sweet with my two daughters (age 8 and 11) and did a great job keeping us on pace but also allowing us to spend time being creative and adding our own touches to our paintings. We loved our masterpieces and this will be a memory we always cherish! Thank you so much, Clem, Kaspar and the Arts Studio!
