It turns out that, contrary to my initial expectations, getting new shades is a breeze. At least, it is when working with these guys. They visited our home, measured up and presented a great many samples to look at. Importantly, they gave helpful perspective based on their vast experience of what looks good and what works well. A few weeks later, they came by and installed the shades (all looking and working perfectly, suffice it to say). The whole thing couldn't have been easier. Finally, the pricing was in line with or better than all other custom shades options we looked at before diving in.
We have a couple of other rooms that will need new shades in the coming years. We know where to go for them.

Loved my experience working with Mark. He was efficient, on time, and reliable. His pricing was competitive and I loved the quality of my blackout shades. I did my bedroom to start and plan to install shades in my living room in time.

Marc and his crew did a superb job with room-darkening curtains for our 2 bedrooms. Pamela in the office is always so pleasant on the phone, and George (I think that’s who did our installation) is a competent and friendly guy. Any time they were scheduled to be here, they were on time. Marc's measurements were perfect.
