I reached out to the law office of Ryan Besinque after his office was recommended by one of my other attorneys that doesn’t specialize in family court. And seeing his reviews - I thought to myself, he is the perfect attorney. Seeing that his website offered a free consultation, I attempted to proceed with the “free consultation” link; however, I encountered a website glitch that kept asking for a CAPTCHA I could not find. Frustrated, I took the liberty to send over an email that same night, genuinely expressing in detail my concerns and desire for help, in which now seems to me that it was blatantly ignored - later admitting that he had received my email.
When I did not receive a response to my email, two days later, I then proceeded to contact the office via phone call, and after finally getting an answer, I was shockingly greeted with an abrupt and dismissive response —completely the opposite of what I expected from a professional; an attorney at that! Instead of honoring their advertised free consultation, he quickly stated that he had received my email and was not taking any new cases without any real explanation or courtesy.
If a business is not accepting clients, they should make that clear on their website rather than advertising a service they don’t intend to provide. The experience felt misleading and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend relying on their “free consultation” offer, or services of counsel for that matter that I would trust on my case if this attitude initially displayed would be the one given, as this shows clear signs of lack of empathy or affinity if given the opportunity of representation or counsel in my case. It seems to be more of a marketing claim than an actual service. Shame: I was really rooting for him, unfortunately.
Professional, Knowledgeable and Supportive. I had a complex case which other lawyers turned away and/or required extremely expensive retainers. I was lucky to have found Ryan Besiquen , he was very knowledgeable on the proceedings , provided open communication, and was affordable for me as a single parent.
