I finally got my pictures that I lost few years ago, WeRecovetData did an awesome job for me, thank you so much definitely will use them again if I will need in the future.
Successful data recovery from a failed RAID1 configuration. Client is happy. The service is expensive but you get what you pay for. Communication through the recovery process was timely and thorough.
Only after recovery was complete was it made clear that payment has to be sent by wire transfer or certified cheque. What a hassle that adds delay in receiving recovered data. Eventually (and only after I pushed back) did they give the option of payment by e-transfer. A delay of a full day could have been avoided if they lead with that.
I never feel compelled to leave negative reviews, but this is the exception. My laptop suffered from a coffee spill and wouldn’t turn on. In my panic, this the first place I found and I paid the $95 diagnostic fee without question. It was only after doing a little research that such an upfront fee is highly unusual— the vast majority of places do the diagnostic for free. They said it would take 6-24 hours, but that window passed without any updates. I tried to call them/use the portal but could not get a hold of anyone. Four days later, they quoted me $3700. Even without knowledge of the typical price range, this felt a little high to me. I asked the kind people at Phoebe’s Mac Repair and they agreed that this was on the high side. I decided to try my luck elsewhere— and upon picking up my laptop, I discovered that it could turn on and work normally again— it didn’t even need data recovery! Ended up just buying a 1 TB hard drive from Best Buy and transferring my files manually for $100. I can’t believe I almost got scammed out of $3700! I would avoid this place and go to Simple Mac/Phoebe’s on St. Mark’s instead.
Wish I had actually read some online reviews, company is a scam. $100 up front then tells you its $3000, and then charges you $40 to ship it back if you dont accept repairs. Avoid at all costs
Asked for 95 dollars and then took weeks team review my case, and when they finally did they asked me for 2000 dollars and told me it would take 2 more weeks, I've requested my phone back and a refund but I doubt ill get it. This absolutely garbage company will take your money and leave you Hugh and dry without answers or communication for weeks. All I needed was my phone hooked up to a computer as all that was broken on it was the screen. I took my phone to another local business and paid 50 dollars and got my data back in hours. This company is single handedly the worst experience I have ever had with a business in my entire life and I cam recommend nothing more than for you to take your business elsewhere. Oh and 90 percent of the positive reviews are bots, sorry.
