I have been coming here for years and Alex always does a terrific job repairing my shoes. The shop also sells shoes, socks, AND makes keys! A real old school neighborhood gem. He just put new heels on my boots. They look like new!
They did a fantastic job on a pair of Ferragamo heels I got from Poshmark, which were practically disintegrated. They look brand new and are much sturdier than before, will the repairs blending seamlessly with the look of the shoe. Absolutely my new go-to cobbler and I will be recommending to all of my friends.
Highly recommended- Have had two pairs of Red Wings done by Alex - both came out really great. This is skilled, old school trustworthy shoe repair. Don’t fall for the corporate conspiracy - support local business that do good work at very fair prices.
I am actually so sad Alex isn’t in Colorado because I would take ALL of my shoes to him. His communication is timely and clear. His work is top notch. I needed a pair of vintage boots repaired during my trip to NYC and was pretty nervous to take them anywhere. He got both soles fixed and reinforced in two days! $25! Tip him generously if you can because these days it’s hard to find such quality service. Couldn’t recommend him enough
