This place embodies the punk rock energy of the Lower East Side with its walls covered in stickers and graffiti, dim red lighting, and an awesome rock/punk soundtrack blasting in the background. The $3 beers and $5 beer + shot combos offer incredible value. Bartender Dmitri was hilarious and made us feel right at home. Although it’s a small space, the vibe is just perfect. We ended up spending around $15 per person for several drinks. This is a real dive bar done right, and I’ll definitely be back often!
4-Star Review
the bald bartender had the most insane attitude i’ve ever experienced. he asked me so many questions and tried to act like im underage and im not! So incredibly unprofessional, on a Thursday night when there were 15 people in total in the bar . He needs a serious talking to
Punk rock dive bar with $6 beer and shot special. cool bartenders playing punk, oi and some related musics. "Boogie lives" is a regular bartender who is the coolest. my wife and I especially like clockwork bar best when he works as he chats up the customers getting laughs out of them causing them to socialize with other customers which cheers up the atmosphere
Bartender was clearly drinking. Rude and arrogant to a group of 8, barely letting us enter the bar before obnoxiously questioning all our ids (all valid and well over 21) and all this occurred during the daytime. While cerebrating a birthday. I will never attend this bar again while this bartender is working. Usually don’t write these things but I’m beyond irritated.
Reasonable priced drinks in a place festered w/ punk graffiti and rock decor, definitely a place to call 'home'. The bartenders always on the ready, the tunes always blaring but not annoying. If the Joker was real this is the place where he will hang night after night before and after bashing Batman. Charge your anarchist batteries in this power house of conventional sense defying.
