My experience from start to finish with Cuba Private Travel was AMAZING! From my first conversation with Johnny, to the handling of all my details with Nay, to the wondrous personalization provided by Sergio during the entire trip, I had an absolutely GREAT time! The hotel stays were very nice, clean, and attentive. The reservations for our dinners were at amazing locations with phenomenal dishes - places we would have never found on our own! The historic tours were insightful, the flexibility during the trip was an absolute gem. The people of Cuba are truly wonderful folk. I made friends that I'm sure I will keep in touch with for a lifetime. From the historic district to the countryside, hiking waterfall trails and scuba diving, this was a trip worthy of your bucket list!
(NOTE: At the time of writing this review I was a US citizen traveling after the US/Venezuela event that impacted Cuba's oil import. Cuba Private Travel STILL came through with a flawless and SAFE trip!)

Excellent travel company with deep roots in all things Cuba. Our ten day itinerary gave us a variety of experiences in its history, music and lifestyles. We enjoyed walking tours, driving tours, we met local artists, Cuba Private Travel gave us such appreciation for the people and culture of Cuba. Every day was better than the last and all we had to do was relax and enjoy. The staff at Cuba Private Travel were all fabulous and we cannot say thank you enough for planning a trip that we will remember forever.
Cuba Private Travel listened to every request we made then tailored a phenomenal itinerary to explore all of Cuba’s beauty. We are sisters from the US that are lucky to travel quite a bit so we honestly can say the guides CPT provided were the best! Rey provided excellent driving as well as input to the culture, the local guides provided introspective to life in Cuba today, and Nay was available to assist throughout our trip. A sincere thank you to Johnny and his team for creating the perfect Cuban experience for us!
We have just spent 3 weeks touring Cuba, including Havana. Soroa, Vinãles ,Bay of Pigs, Cienfuegos, Trinidad , Santa Clara and Varadero.We enjoyed a number of private tours with Cuba Private Travel . This included a colonial , revolution and Art tour in Havana, A tobacco plantation tour from seed to cigar , a mountain horse riding trek , sugar plantation tour and The Che Memorial in Santa Clara plus others. These were all exceptional and all of the individual guides were extremely knowledgeable ,friendly and helpful. In particular a special mention has to go to our personal guide Reinier who was with us for 12 days. He was a superb guide in every way. He was always there for us day and night, helpful, friendly and approachable. He found us some local bars and restaurants on our journeys that were just what we wanted and showed us some extra sights that we really enjoyed. He drove us approximately 900 hundred kilometres on our recent trips and he was an excellent driver at all times and considering the condition of some Cuban roads that is amazing!. Daniel , our organiser at Cuba Private Travel ,was in touch with us throughout and was really helpful when we needed anything.A Faultless team.
We enjoyed our trip immensely. CPT was excellent to work with from start to finish. Their communication, itinerary and execution of the trip was outstanding. The concierge was always available to answer any questions. The accommodations chosen were luxury. Our guide in Havana was so friendly and knowledgeable and was completely available at our disposal. The drivers arranged were always on time and very professional. We cannot recommend CPT enough nor can we say enough about traveling to this beautiful country. We had some of the best accommodations and food that we have ever had and the people of Cuba are so welcoming!! If you get the chance GO GO GO and use CPT - they will make the trip one of a lifetime!!
