Dan DJ'd our wedding at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in 2026 and was phenomenal! We knew we were in good hands from our very first meeting. He was both professional and fun and did a great job mixing our eclectic taste - from traditional Chinese music, to emo 90's music, to classic wedding dance songs, k-pop and country, Dan was able to manage all our requests and still curate a great vibe on the dance floor. Our dance floor was packed until the last minute, which is what we were hoping for!
More than just being a great DJ, Dan was a fantastic communicator and MC - he made all the announcements on time, kept the flow of the night on track, communicated with our wedding planner, and kept the energy high but not overbearing
Dan was the DJ at our wedding, and he was absolutely amazing! We worked together on the music selection and the day-of schedule, and he was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. He also worked with our day-of coordinator and venue staff to handle the load-in and load-out logistics, which made everything run smoothly behind the scenes. On top of that, he took the time to join us for a site visit before the wedding to make sure everything was perfectly set up.

Dan Ross MADE our party! My daughter suggested we get a DJ to help her 3 hour, private, afternoon adult birthday party at a bar, feel a little more festive. We found Dan online and we are so glad we did! Not only is Dan’s event-time priced appropriately, he met with us several days ahead of the party to talk about our goals for the vibe and music and to make sure he played what we wanted. He took our music suggestions and came up with more! We communicated easily and often with Dan up until the event. He was super friendly and approachable and really knows his music! He is well versed in anything you need as far as genres and he knows what works well with different audiences. He can also read a room - which is so important with a DJ. Highly recommend Dan Ross for your next event! We would hire him again in a heartbeat!
Five stars doesn’t feel like enough...I truly cannot recommend Dan enough! We hired him to DJ our wedding, and he absolutely nailed every part of the experience. Working with him was an absolute joy. He went out of his way to coordinate directly with our venue about setup and sound equipment and came incredibly prepared. So many of our guests came up to us to rave about how amazing the DJ was, and our dance floor was electric all night long. Thank you, Dan!!!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience working with Dan as the DJ for our wedding! He was an incredible presence and was professional, personable, and completely in tune with the crowd. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the music, from the personalized song choices and flow to the right volume. He also hit a high note as our MC, offering helpful announcements to keep everyone informed and the night moving along.
Dan was also the perfect fit for our cat-themed wedding as he has two ragdolls of his own, so he completely understood the vibe. It was such a fun connection and made everything feel that much more personal.
