This is our 8th year taking over 90 middle school children to Dance Manhattan to learn Bachata and Merengue. Rodney is amazing and we couldn't imagine having our lesson with anyone else. He knows how to keep the students attention while being funny and enthusiastic. You can tell he really loves teaching students and is a great dancer. All the students said they had such a fun time. Elena is great to work with and makes planning very easy. I would highly recommend using Dance Manhattan for whatever dance lesson needs are.
Dance Manhattan was so amazing with helping us to plan the dance portion of our bachelorette weekend festivities. Elena was an absolute pleasure to work with the entire time. She helped to plan the perfect event and answered every question that we had along the way. We were lucky enough to have Rodney as our dance instructor and he was incredible. We learned a lot in his class, but also had a ton of fun :) We could not have been more happy with our experience with Dance Manhattan. Thank you so much!!
I scoured the internet to find the best dance classes in NYC and I believe I've found it! The teachers are as talented in dancing as they are teaching, not to mention they all seem to be extremely cheery, outgoing, and fun loving! The owner, Elena, is an absolutely lovely woman who wants to help in anyway she can and make sure you get the most out of her classes. Which I assure you, you do!

This is the best dance studio in NYC. Bobbi is by far the best dance instructor ever. She is outstanding at teaching salsa as well as hussle. I'm pretty sure the other instructors are good as well but Bobbi is just amazing. She also does private lessons which really allows you to improve. Give this place a try if you're looking for a good dance studio.
The best place to learn swing dance in NYC! Several of the swing dance instructors at Dance Manhattan travel internationally to teach workshops and they are also very friendly. Taking a swing dance class here is a lot of fun and you will quickly become part of a community of other people who are interested in social dancing as well. I highly recommend this dance studio.
