From the exam to the overall efficiency of the operation, everything was top notch. I'll admit I walked in with high expectations based on the reviews I'd seen — but the improvement over my previous aids was so dramatic that my friends with hearing issues have started to wonder if I have a financial interest in the company, given how relentlessly I promote them. I don't. They're just that good.
After being fitted with Fortell hearing aids, I went with family members to dinner at a restaurant in which there was a fair amount of background noise plus music. For the first time in about five years, I was able to understand everything that was said at the table. Every aspect of my experience with the Fortell staff and the hearing aids has been first rate.
My Fortell hearing aids are transformative. So great in work meetings and really amazing in loud restaurants (where I turn off the back voices). I have had other hearing aids and have to say, the AI separation of voices vs. other sounds is remarkable.

As a 73-year old former rock band drummer, and former, but avid, rock concert goer, I have been struggling with hearing loss for a number of years. Over the years I have tried a number of conventional hearing aids, both prescription and OTC; all have been expensive disappointments. While all succeeded in audio amplification, they amplified everything; none demonstrated the ability to solve the problem I needed solved: to meaningly isolate and enhance conversation in the midst of otherwise dominant and distracting ambient noise.
I had become aware of Fortell, but because of my disappointing experience with other hearing products, I was reluctant to pursue them as a possible solution. Frankly, there were a number of factors that were working against them: it would mean betting on a startup, their product is on the expensive side, and their only audiology clinic at the time was in New York City and I live near the Twin Cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul. However, it was while visiting restaurants and bars while on a vacation with my two daughters when a spotlight was put on my hearing impairment as I was unable to discern so much of the conversation, that I effectively sat in radio silence. This was the tipping point that prompted me to travel to NYC to give Fortell's solution a try. I am thrilled that I did.
I am now a newly minted fan of Fortell's AI-based hearing solution. Their solution includes not only the hearing aids themselves, but also the app, the people behind it all, and the way those things are integrated. The comprehensiveness and sophistication with which their hearing aids and their app are designed, built and integrated, remind me of Tesla's integration of their EV's and their app. But unlike Tesla, the Fortell experience is wrapped by high-touch customer service. But these things are all means to an end: the Fortell system delivers a hearing experience that solves a problem that every one of the other prescription and OTC hearing aids that I have tried have failed to solve: the ability to isolate and enhance conversation in the midst of otherwise dominant ambient noise.
Going to Fortell for new hearing aids has been a terrific experience. The audiologists are professional and caring. They are also available to "tune up" my hearing aids via the Fortell App. I am extremely satisfied with the hearing aids which enable me to hear so much better in noisy places (including restaurants). I would highly recommend Fortell hearing aids and all of the great support that comes with them. You will not regret it!
