Office staff (Janice) very efficient and knowledgeable, commnication during both estimate and job very responsive. Very processional and courteous foreman (Eduardo) and workers. Came on time every day, stayed to finish on schedule. Removed a 3 flue chimney stack housing a fireplace, wall oven, wood fired pizza/grill, and oil burner exhaust, and poured apron in 3 work days. Good dust control and clean up. Gained 32 square feet on 2nd floor and 42 on first floor! Very pleased, highly reccomeded!
Mike and Rob came out to inspect my chimney, after my chimney cap blew off. They arrived on time as they said they would. Rob rolled out the equipment needed for the job, and after a quick inspection by Mike explained step by step what he would do and took care of it. They both respected my property and took all trash with with them, leaving my property nice and neat the way they found it. I recommend this company for your next chimney job. Thank you guys for a great job done.
We had an excellent experience with Magic Chimney Company. The team was professional, on time, and very thorough. They explained the work clearly and made sure everything was completed safely and efficiently.

Update: the owner contacted me soon after my previous review and they offered to do a new cleaning of the fireplace and apologizes for my bad experience. Seems they do care about reputation as well as customers. I likely just had a bad first experience which is an unfortunate thing that happens in life. Seeing how they cleaned my fireplace the second time, I would recommend them going forward especially with how their customer service is.
Original review: I unfortunately cannot recommend this company. They came to do a cleaning for a VERY cheap price ($119) and it seems this is a loss leader for them to try and upsell additional work they claim is for safety but feels like its just gouging the customer with scare tactics.
Mike from Chimney Magic claimed I had holes in the liner and cracks that needed immediate fixes and wanted to charge me $3,800. I had a second company come by and do a thorough inspected and they found one tiny crack that they said was common and no work needed to be done. No safety issues whatsoever!
Besides for that they did a terrible job cleaning and left a mess in my house. I did not feel that they actually cleaned the chimney but rather a quick 20 min job just to upsell clients. They left dirty handprints throughout the house and at one point the vacuum started spraying dirt around my living room. I was very disappointed and not sure how they have so many good reviews…
I used the service of this company by accident. They were working across the street from my house, and I asked an employee to check the chimney of my house. He agreed to do so after they finish what they were doing across the street.
He brought a large ladder and checked the chimney, he took some pictures to show me the damage and what needed to be done. He was very pleasant, professional, and knowledgeable. I did not have to think about the price, or look around for a second estimate. The next day, they showed up and did a wonderful job. No mess , or garbage was left behind.
