I and my kids recently visited Hall des Lumières. The immersive shows of Klimt and Hundertwasser were amazing — their art projected on the walls, ceiling, and floor made the whole place feel alive. A beautiful and unforgettable experience!
I love Klimt (fortunately, had the opportunity to see a lot of the original paintings at the Neue gallery 10 years ago). Space is amazing! Definitely recommend viewing in the basement. I saw their Van Gogh show when it was on Vessey Street - enjoyed moving around and going into different rooms. But still, this was definitely worth the time and the money! Staff was very friendly and you can sit for how many hours you’d like, the show itself is about one hour. There are also two other shows, “Save the Whales,“ and one “Five Movements,“ both wonderful.
Another amazing digital fine art show by CULTURESPACES. I have seen several of their shows in Les Baux, France and was very impressed.
This NYC show is also spectacular and features the works of Gustave Klimt and several other artists. The show is an hour and is continuous. It is in the 115 year old Emigrant Industrial Bank on Chambers Street that is 10000 sqft on three levels giving you different perspectives on the projected art. The bank is Beaux-Arts style and there are still teller cages and a bank vault in the building.
This is a mixture of art and music. A wonderful immersive art experience not to be missed!
bought the tickets on the fever app that allows you to accumulate points and then use the points for discounts on events it was great.
this venue is beautiful and the perfect setting for this spectacular cinematic experience. the films projected using the entire inside of the venue were astonishing. really liked the experience and will probably go see when different exhibits come up
Thanks to my sister who brought us here. We definitely had a great time. The experience was about an hour. You are able to go up the stairs and sit to watch. I do think you would have the most experience sitting downstairs on one the beanie bags. I posted a video with my son laying down on one. Music was amazing and the best part is it wasn’t packed on a Sunday. You can also enjoy the vault which is somewhat hidden underneath the stairs. Overall, loved it and I would go back again :)
