We arrived early and were the first customers of the day, which made the whole process very smooth. The staff took the time to answer our questions and provided genuinely friendly, personalized service. A great start to our road trip.
Was worried as well with the negative reviews but the lady at the front desk was great. I got my car on a Sunday at 9am and had no issues. Super fast check out. Albeit it is a tiny location and space to get your vehicle so you definitely have to account for every type of car pick up nuance
Damn, wish I could have given a 0 star review. I am absolutely outraged. Can someone please explain what is the point of a reservation? Or is it just me. I got there, expecting to pick up my car and was told “we don’t have any cars, we might get one in an hour or two”. Do not go here, terrible experience. I know it’s not the lady’s fault that was sitting there, but she had no urgency and all she said when I had asked and now what, what do I do.. I need it now, hence the booking was “what can I tell you, file a complaint with hertz” terrible customer service and terrible experience. If you are looking go to the far superior sixt down the street and you won’t waste your time. Especially as a president circle member it shows hertz just don’t care. I also had to pay an additional 100 for a last minute car for this inconvenience..
I got really nervous reading the heavily negative reviews before my reservation at this Hertz. However, just wanted to report that I had a super smooth pickup and drop off process here. I picked up exactly at 7am when they open, and all the employees working were super friendly and helpful. This location is also convenient if you’re driving out of New York City, since you can avoid a lot of typical city traffic. Would rent from here again!
Like others here have experienced, we arrived at this location for our reservation and were told there were no cars available. We were told we’d have to wait anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours for a returning vehicle, and that there was nothing Hertz could do. While one staff member was very kind and our wait ended up being about 30 minutes, it was still an extremely stressful experience since we needed the car for a time-sensitive, special occasion. That said, If you’re renting for something important, avoid this location/Hertz
