I've been visiting Jeffrey for years! Everyone in my family has gone to him. He is an absolute miracle worker. He's definitely the real deal. He's very knowledgeable in all areas of Chinese medicine.
I’ve been going to Dr. Chen for what seems like ages now (and taking my mother with me too) and have essentially been seeing him as my primary physician lol. I think he’s known for treating pains and women problems but in fact he helped me and my mom with whatever problems we had, from food poisoning to ankle sprains. Not only does he treat your immediate problems but he also gives you lifestyle advice etc. to you help live a more healthful life in light of your specific circumstances. When I started seeing Dr. Chen, I was a weak guy with a bad throat, digestion and knee problem. Now, well, I’m not captain America but can go hike mountains with ease in cold weathers. This review is not so much a review as it is my gratitude to a great doctor for changing my life for the better.
Jeffrey was warm and professional. Very thorough intake, and I felt comfortable the whole time. Left acupuncture very relaxed and felt so much better. Definitely recommend!
Jeffrey is amazing! My mom had sudden severe back and spinal pain and was in town for a holiday visit. He helped relieve all the pain so she could enjoy Christmas and New Years. Thank you Jeffrey!!!
After a weird pose where I contorted my shoulder and arms weirdly, I suffered from pain under my armpit for two months! It bothered me and restricted my neck movements all day. I was so desperate and tried letting it heal naturally because it wasn’t stopping me from my day to day, but it was nagging me enough and lingered incessantly that it kept me from sleeping well all night. I had a short trip back to NY and decided to give acupuncture one more shot as this was more sensible since I felt it might have been a nerve issue. I’m so grateful that Dr. Chen was able to fit me in the very next morning because whatever he did exactly, it WORKED! At first I wasn’t sure but after a few hours I knew it wasn’t a fluke; the pain had reduced by at least 80%. I was keeping my fingers crossed all day that the pain would not return. I was also given some herbs to increase blood flow to the damaged area and I truly believe this combination helped me get the best sleep I’ve had in months. It’s been almost 36 hours now, and I’m on a plane flying thousands of miles away from the good doctor. It’s this miracle treatment that wishes I could go back for a few weeks because I absolutely know that a few more sessions and this nightmare will finally be over. I’m writing this review for those who are on the fence about acupuncture. There’s very minimal discomfort and the rewards can be life changing. Dr. Chen said I should find someone locally once I get home, but I told him I’ve only ever tried acupuncture with him, and only he had my trust because he’s very gentle and caring. While acupuncture might not be a panacea, it sure did amaze me with what ailed me and I’m confident if it can be healed with acupuncture, this man will figure it out.
