For a Brit wanting a drink and not looking for anything fancy or an Irish looky-likely, this bar made my day with raw bar appeal. Loved it and has a fab juke box.
popped in for a nightcap, fun dive bar atmosphere but the men's bathroom was full of racist graffiti. you'd hope that the staff and/or owners of the establishment would make an effort to remove or write over highly offensive messages, but unfortunately that seems not to be the case. wouldn't return because of that.
Amazing find! It was my last night in NYC before returning to Europe and met my local friend here on his recommendation for a few drinks and had a great time.. Crowd was very authentic/fun, easy to talk to and ended up making new friends at the bar... also bar tenders were extremely friendly and providing amazing service.. specially Tula was great (sorry if I spelled the name incorrectly) and also the owner... Prices are very reasonable / cheap for New York and ended up with couple of rounds of shots with everyone.. Also I learned what "Dive bar" means in NYC.. :)
Not sure when / if I will be back to New York but if I do will definitely be visiting Nassau and would highly recommend this bar to anyone.. Thanks for an amazing night and memories to remember for life..
wow, what can I say!? One of the best bars in New York visiting from Nashville! Met Philly and within five minutes felt like I had known her forever and she’s already invited to my wedding so special. The best customer service I’ve ever had in a bar. 5 STARS 🩷
Stopped in for a drink after walking Brooklyn Bridge and I would recommend everyone else to do the same.
Awesome atmosphere, the best bartender, Philly (she was a ball of New York energy 10/10). So much hospitality for 2 buds visiting from Arizona.
Would recommend a million times over.
