Did the 2-day knife workshop. Both days are worth it; I have a cool knife with a handle that I forged with my own for my own hands hands (the "for my own hands" is part of why the second day is definitely worth it). The instructor was kind and helpful. He wanted us to feel like our knives were our own while still needing to make sure the class moved forward. He also personalized skills he taught us to what we were interested in doing for our knives. I would recommend that you be decently clear with your instructor what you want them to do for you vs not, however, he did smooth my handle more than I had intended to smooth it. I'm very excited to do more with She-Weld
Amazing class! My 12 year old and I made our own knives in the one day class, the instructor, Tahoma was patient and passionate about the craft, and we really learned some new skills!! But he also was able to bail us out when we got stuck. A definite recommend if you want a fun activity!
Very fun class! Plenty of one on one help with the instructor even though you are with several other people. Our instructor, Tacoma, was very knowledgeable and it was clear that he loves what he does. Excellent way to try bladesmithing without any prior experience. Would absolutely recommend!
My kids got me a one-day class as a birthday gift. All I can say is best gift ever! Marsha has a wealth of experience and was a thorough, patient teacher. No experience required, this is a great experience i ill do again, next time with friends.
Best experience ever!!! We took the 1 Day knife making class and turned a railroad spike into a fully functional knife. Our teacher Neil was patient and knowledgeable. He answered all our questions and put up with my fears. He is literally FIRE. Cannot say enough amazing things about She-Weld. Take a class, you won't regret it.
