Fairly convenient (24 hour availability). Office closes 5pm but can drop the car at any hour.
Was quiet when we arrived so relatively quick turn around.
Returns are a little tricky finding the parking lot entrance especially after hours, but managed.
Service was pleasant enough and offered an upgrade which was ok. However he BSed about how the car would turn off at traffic lights when stopped and equated this as a hybrid car!!!
All staffs are very nice and friendly. Although their working hours shows until 6pm, you can return a car after they close, how to return is also very easy & convenient. Their support service very responsive too. I returned the car with fully refueled although I rented a car with half tank. I emailed them, they replied me immediately and refund procedure is very smooth. I trust them more than when I rent a car! Thank you so much for your service, I’ll definitely come back again!
Sixt Battery Park is excellent - best staff - Bionny, Deborah, Mo and others. Best luxury cars and convenient location. I rent from here consistently because I always have a great experience here.
Is my fourth time renting with this company and second time renting on this location. I'm amazed by the quality and cleanliness of their vehicles (and off course the affordability). Something I really like from this location besides been very convenient spot from where I live is the Staff! I have been helped by Bionny who has made my rides even more pleasant. His professionalism and positive attitude is what makes me come back to this location, very knowledgeable guy who will genuinely suggest you upgrades or better options according to your needs. (Without been pushy or feeling he's just trying to upsell you whatever)
I had a great experience with Sixt Rent a Car at the New York City Battery location. The staff was friendly and efficient, and the check-in and return process were quick and easy. The vehicle was in excellent condition and very clean. I appreciated the convenient location and the clear instructions provided. I would definitely rent from this location again.
