The View Event Space / The View Rooftop Lounge

The venue itself is stunning — clean, spacious, and visually beautiful. Unfortunately, that is the only positive thing I can say.

The venue owners are some of the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. They made my baby shower far more stressful than it ever needed to be, and I will never work with them or recommend them to anyone.

From the very beginning, the business practices were sketchy. I initially reached out to secure The View Loft, but after being told it wasn’t available, I was pushed toward The View BK. The space looked good, and we were told a lot was included, so we signed a contract for 4:00–11:30 PM. We specifically chose a Friday because we were told there would be flexibility to open earlier for setup.

However, the week of the event, after repeatedly asking what time vendors could arrive, we were suddenly told no one could enter before 4:00 PM, and the event had to end by 10:00 PM, with lights on for cleanup. For a 5:00 PM event, this left only one hour for setup, which is completely unreasonable. If we wanted extra setup time, we were told it would cost $200 per additional hour — something that was never clearly communicated before signing the contract.

All we wanted to do was drop off setup items earlier, and they absolutely refused. To make matters worse, they stated they would be setting up some of our décor but still would not let us drop anything off. When we asked if their setup would be completed before guests arrived at 5:00 PM, we were told yes — only to find out later that this was not true.

A co-owner, Michael, called me at 11:30 PM, speaking in a condescending and extremely unprofessional manner, and argued with us for nearly an hour without offering any real solution. Eventually, we agreed that all venue-provided setup would be completed by 5:00 PM.

That promise was broken. On the day of the event, setup wasn’t finished until 6:00 PM, and they still refused to offer any extra time to accommodate the delay.

The customer service during the event was just as bad. Staff were packing plates for themselves, food we brought was not properly served, and the bartender was rude. The overall experience was very unprofessional and unacceptable.

Thankfully, my event planner was amazing and salvaged the day, which is the only reason I still managed to enjoy my baby shower. But the service from The View BK was horrible.

Beautiful venue — terrible management and service. I will not be returning and will not recommend this venue to anyone.

I hosted my baby shower at The View Event Space this past November, and it was truly everything I hoped for and more. From our very first site visit to the day of the event, the team was incredibly flexible, professional, and supportive every step of the way.

The venue itself is beautiful — modern, spacious, and well-maintained. It was also surprisingly affordable, especially considering the quality of the space and service. They connected us with a third-party vendor who provided stunning event props like a flower wall, red carpet, couch, and champagne wall — all at a very reasonable price, which really elevated the overall experience.

The team at The View is very clear and consistent about their setup and breakdown time requirements, and they stick to them — which I appreciated because it kept everything organized and efficient. On the day of the event, the owner even stopped by to personally introduce herself before using the space for her own celebration later that evening. She was so kind and welcoming — a very nice woman!

I received so many compliments from my guests about how beautiful and well-run everything was. If you’re looking for an affordable, stylish, and well-managed venue for your next event, I highly recommend The View Event Space. It was the perfect place to celebrate such a special moment in my life!

We hosted my daughter's Sweet 16 Birthday party here and the venue was perfect. The staff was so helpful and accomodating. They were responsive to all my questions and concerns Antonio and Steffany were went out of their way to make this a memorable experience. Everyone from the security to the wait staff, bartenders, and decor coordinator were amazing.

My favorite part was the fact that they were able to accomodate all the decor my daughter requested without me having to worry about the hassle of set up and take down. I've planned many parties before and the decor is always one of the most time consuming, expensive and stressful parts. This venue handled all of that for me.

The whole family was so impressed by how the party turned out.

I had my 40 birthday party recently at the this venue .We had some kinks at first BUT Micheal did his best to accommodate all my needs , he was very very patient with me …I am not easy woman to deal with and I am very particular how I want things done . stefani was good as well her communication and Kerven took me under his wings and did his very best to make sure my event went smoothly on that day and help out with entertainment for my party … only wish that my party went until 2am ..it very beautiful venue Space

My family and I celebrated my grand baby’s first birthday celebration during this pandemic. I had the pleasure of working with Althia and the staff at the view event space. Everything went off without any problems and the party was a success!! Althia worked hard to make sure that was the case. Decorations were on point and beautiful for my little coco melon. Her staff was on hand to address any problem that may arise but there were none. I want to give a special thank you to Deb and Kash they went beyond expectations. I couldn’t have asked for anything more! You will not be disappointed!!!
