Found Carlos on Yelp. Saw the great reviews and got in touch. Responded in a very short time. Patiently and professionally came to my house multiple times to discuss what was needed. My lawn was overwhelmed with old tree roots needing attention way beyond my abilities. Him and his crew worked hard and removed an incredible amount of roots to replaced lawn. His pricing was reasonable. I hope to do business with him again in future.

Valdez Lawn Care is where you want to go for great landscaping. Carlos and crew are true pros. They take care of my lawn, plants and trees to my great satisfaction. My lawn from one of the worst to the best on my block because of Valdez.

We highly recommend Valdez Lawn Care based on our own experience and the work that Carlos and his crew performed in our front yard. We wanted artificial grass (turf) for low maintenance and to safe water and Carlos did a fantastic job with its installation. He also planted some perennial plants (to prevent weeds he placed mulch) to give some color to the front of the house and we have received a lot of complements from our neighbors.

My experience with this company, especially Carlos, was extremely unpleasant. The trees in our front yard were destroyed after an incident so we began looking for a professional gardener. After seeing all the great reviews, we decided to go with Carlos but after our experience I’m not sure if these reviews are real. Carlos was very unprofessional. He did not finish his job and he stopped answering all phone calls. We asked Carlos to plant a specific kind of tree to which he agreed. However, when he started planting it, it was obvious it was not the same. We told him but he would not listen and he would get mad and act very unprofessionally. Once Carlos stopped answering phone calls, we called other gardeners to check his work and they all said he did a horrible job and did not know what he was doing. I have had to pay other gardeners to fix Carlos’ work. Working with Carlos was a waste of time and money, I wish I had known how unprofessional he is. I will be adding pictures of his work.

I hired Carlos Valdez this spring to repair what I thought was a hopeless lawn. I say hopeless because the previous owners had ivy plants growing for over 50 years. I waiting this long to write a review of Carlos because I doubted that he could get rid to the ivy plants. After many tireless afternoons of pulling roots and grading (to my precise specifications) I am happy to say that Carlos accomplished what I asked him for in March. Hiring people is not easy but my experience with Carlos has been pleasant. Highly recommended for the Fresh Meadows and Hollis Hills area.
