I had a disappointing experience with Arrow Search Partners. Despite having over 10 years of professional experience, I felt my background and market knowledge were not fully respected during a salary discussion. When asked about my compensation expectations, which were fully aligned with current market rates.. I was told to essentially “be realistic,” a comment that felt dismissive rather than consultative.
In addition, I applied to multiple roles posted by this agency over time and never received any response or follow-up. The lack of communication, combined with the interaction described above, came across as unprofessional and discouraging.
I expect a recruitment partner to provide transparency, professionalism, and basic candidate communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience, and I would not recommend this agency.
Lots of fake-looking reviews here from about 9 months ago. That aside, I had a terrible experience. I was pressured to consider roles I clearly said I wasn’t interested in. The recruiter even told me I couldn’t do better. I ended up landing an elite, top-of-the-industry position on my own.
