I’ve had my nanobrows done here twice now and I can confidently say it was one of the best beauty decisions I’ve made. With so many places to choose from, I’m so happy I found this studio. My brows look incredibly natural, perfectly shaped, and I get dozens of compliments on them all the time.
The attention to detail, professionalism, and overall experience were amazing both times. I wake up feeling confident every day now because my brows already look done and polished. I’ll definitely continue coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone considering nanobrows! Nayoung is amazing and so is the staff.
Overall, I’ve had a good experience here. The facials have been great, and I’ve genuinely noticed improvement in my skin. The facial technicians are especially kind, professional, and do quality work. I’ve even praised this business at my job and have co workers who were willing to come as well.
My only issue — and unfortunately it’s a significant one — is how aggressively tipping is pushed. The services here are already very expensive; it’s easy to spend $500 + after booking just two of their services. While I understand tipping is appreciated, it should still feel optional, not expected or pressured.
On one occasion, a staff member even contacted me late at night once I was already home to request a tip, which honestly felt unusual and intrusive. During my most recent visit, everything was pleasant until checkout, when the employee handed me a sign with the technicians’ Zelle/Venmo information. The atmosphere immediately became uncomfortable and tense, and honestly, it made me feel pressured into tipping before I could leave.
I’m always polite, respectful, and on time for my appointments, and I truly do appreciate the technicians and their work. But customers should not feel obligated or uncomfortable over tipping, especially after already paying premium prices for services. I have easily spent close to $2,000 at this establishment.
Anyway, the aggressive tipping culture is the only reason I’m hesitant to return.
My years long search for a great place for facials ended when I finally visited Beauty Artist Studio. I’ve had three facials there, two with Sora and one with Ann. I left each feeling great. They took great care in evaluating my skin, explaining each step, and making it a very pleasant experience. My skin was soft and dewy after each. I also enjoyed the leg massage with a device that was wrapped around my lower leg.
After my great experience with facials, I decided to get Nano Brows which were done by the owner, Nayoung. She is expert at her craft and on top of that, she’s a kind and caring person. The entire experience from the initial consultation to the actual procedure to the recovery was easy. The discomfort was none to minimal. Nayoung explained every step, took her time and asked for my feedback along the way. I couldn’t be happier with the result. I love my Nano Brows!! They look very natural.
Beauty Artist is conveniently located near Grand Central Terminal and the prices are very reasonable for the excellent quality of work. Highly recommend!!
First and foremost I am not getting paid to write this review nor gain any monetary compensation. When looking at reviews it’s important to make sure the review is legit. I went recently to see Nayoung for the sole purpose of giving my existing brows shape and more symmetry. I am getting older and wanted to do something to elevate my look without looking like I’m trying too hard. From the moment you enter the space you are greeted with a warm smile and a non intimidating environment. Nayoung spent a lot of time mapping, counseling, and managing my expectations. She mentioned her goals and asked what my goals were and together we arrived at what I would call the perfect brows for me. Today I went for my touch up and it was more of a tweak. She took pictures as well because sometimes the pictures can highlight things that the naked eye cannot. Nayoung is thoughtful, kind, and we had a lovely time just talking about life. If you are on the fence about doing your brows look no further and see Nayoung. I have received so many compliments and my morning routine has gotten shorter because I don’t have to draw my brows in anymore. I love the color, shape and my face seems more balanced. You can probably find other places that may charge less, but a good rule of thumb is to never get your face on discount. You will just end up paying more to fix someone else’s mistakes. Get it done right the first time. NO REGRETS❤️
This was my first time receiving the new lash lift x extension service from Korea, and I really LOVED how my lashes looked after the treatment!! It was natural but still made my lashes look visibly longer and curlier.
It has been two weeks since the treatment and my lashes still look naturally longer than they have ever been. Will definitely be returning for a second visit :)
