We’ve had the privilege of working with Bloom OT for the past four years, and I truly cannot speak highly enough of their care, professionalism, and impact on our family. From the very beginning, our son felt safe, supported, and seen — first with Jess, and later with several other occupational therapists, each one just as wonderful. Every therapist he worked with was warm, communicative, and deeply knowledgeable — and perhaps most importantly, he genuinely looked forward to his sessions.

Bloom OT didn’t just support our son — they supported us as parents. Over the years, we’ve learned so much about his sensory processing system and how to better understand and support his unique sensory needs. The education we received around sensory integration, regulation strategies, and implementing a sensory diet at home has been invaluable. The practical tools and routines they introduced have become part of our daily life and have helped our son thrive.

Bloom also went above and beyond by collaborating with our son’s school — ensuring that his educators understood his sensory profile and knew how to support him in the classroom. That kind of advocacy and partnership is rare and deeply appreciated.

Bloom OT is truly a gem. They are fierce advocates for children and families, and their work — helping parents understand and support their children’s sensory needs — is more vital now than ever. We are endlessly grateful.

Jess is incredibly skilled, professional, kind, and deeply dedicated to her patients. She went above and beyond with us and carefully listened to all needs and queries we had. My 7-yo son loved working with her, and as a physician-mother I was very impressed by the quality care she offers. Also, she oversees her practice with meticulous and dedicated effort, ensuring that all patients, regardless of the provider, receive the quality care they need. Best OT in north brooklyn!!!

My 3 year old son saw Jess at Bloom for about 6 months for sensory processing differences until we moved out of state. I'm in the process of trying to find him a new OT and its been so hard because nothing compares to our experience at Bloom. From day 1 Bloom felt so easy and natural and personal. Jess was wonderful with my son and he loved going to the gym to play with her. She made him feel so proud of himself for accomplishing new tasks, things that are much harder for him to try at home, and made the whole process really fun for him. The OT "language" was somewhat new to us and Jess was always so patient and helpful in explaining everything, giving examples and teaching us how to help our son. Jess was so thorough in her observations and it was really obvious that she was very in tune with our son and noticed so many details about his abilities and behaviors. We have definitely seen a difference in our son's behavior, ability to regulate and confidence AND we know how to better interact with him and set up his environment to support his differences all thanks to Jess. Before we moved, Jess made sure to do a super thorough re-evaluation for us to share with new providers which has been extremely helpful. She's also continued to do sessions with our son via zoom since we moved to help us during our transition period. I cannot recommend Bloom more, we had such a positive experience and miss going so much!
