They don’t respond to calls in a timely manner. We got cripple people trying to climb up seven flights stairs! This is the worst elevator company.
I will say this, from my experience. We have an outstanding elevator mechanic, keep the elevator machine rooms spotless, and we pass every city test without any violations. Cat 2 Cat 5. Thank You Bill
I work in a building where we had a new super who wanted to use this company. Seriously the worst. Play the song two technicians to my building that did not speak english. Therefore I was never able to communicate with them. So telling them what was wrong was a challenge in itself. Every time they came here and said they fixed it something else was broken the next day or a few days later the same problem happened again. They continuously blamed us and told us that we were sabotaging the elevators and we showed them the cameras to prove to them that we don't even enter that room. Their last day in the building was the day that they went downstairs and stayed there for about 6 hours only to come back upstairs and tell me that someone pulled out all the wires and that it was us that was sabotaging and breaking the elevators. Again I went back to the tape just to make sure no one went in there and I was right. It was them that was doing it. I showed the tapes to the and the company was terminated and we started using metro elevator company. Haven't had any issues since the company was changed. These people were rude, the guy on the phone in the main office was rude, the technicians were rude, and they sabotaged our elevator and then tried to blame it on us. We also found out that instead of fixing the rollers on the elevator they wrapped the rollers and tons of electric tape just so they wouldn't make noise when they scraped down the elevator shaft. Truly one of the shadiest companies I've ever seen in my life. These technicians are horrible and the person in the office is rude. Maybe we just got unlucky and had horrible people assigned to our building. I don't know. But the experience was disgusting and at times insulting. So glad we are not with them anymore.
We got stuck in our apartment elevator at 9:30pm and someone from Centennial Elevator Industries got us out by 9:50pm. They seemed efficient, informed, and we were very appreciative of how quickly they got us out. Thank you!
Very good elevator company but one employee stood out the most JOE DEBONO. Very very very professional individual, this guy use to do Inspections at 220 E65th st and out of all the workers sent to us he worked above and beyond. He really cares about getting the job done the right way & most importantly he cared about the safety of the elevators. He was super friendly and took the time out to thoroughly explain the situation of the elevators. He loved Bruce Lee & got along with everyone in the building staff. Very great guy!
