Fantastic shop,
Serviced a vintage omega bumper and did an excellent job and at a very competitive rate. He also put in some missing dial markers at my request and now it looks really good (looks like a perfect match, I don't think i can tell which are from the donor)
I pearned about this shop several months ago when i came in with a loose minute hand and in 5 minutes it was reinstalled and checked for alignment. Owner is skilled and a professional repairman.i can definitely recommend this place
I took my vintage Cartier Santos to Cartier for a battery replacement (my watch was fully serviced in 2019). The estimate came back at $486! All of a sudden I needed to oil the movement, dial restoration, etc. Boris was amazing! In and out and $85 for my replacement. I will bring all my goods to this man!
I am eternally grateful for the excellent work Boris has done on my behalf. I came into the shop with 2 of my great-grandfather’s pocket watches, discovered in my grandma’s attic after many years of being untouched. He informed me they were both well over 100 years old, and gave me a lot of background information on what it would take to fix them. He then gave me a very fair price to fix them both, and got them both working in a quick turnaround time for the holidays. I gave them to my father for Christmas, in working order, and he was amazed, definitely the best gift I’ve given him. Boris is extremely knowledgeable and fair with his business practices, you can trust him. Thank you Boris!!
Great experience and highly recommend. Boris repaired my grandfather's 45 year old watch. It looks amazing and runs as if it's brand new. Boris was kind, easy to work with, offered a very competitive price, and completed the service very quickly. 10/10 rating and would recommend to anyone.
The best experience I have had in NYC jewelry.
Chelsea Watch and Jewelry Repair is an absolute gem! Truly one of New York’s best-kept secrets. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the authenticity, craftsmanship, and heart that goes into every piece they work on.
Boris is in a league of his own. His attention to detail is unmatched, but what truly sets him apart is his kindness. A kindness that goes far beyond customer service and into genuine care for the pieces and people who bring them in.
He saved my favorite necklace from certain doom after a broken clasp left it unwearable and hanging on by a thread. I honestly thought it was beyond repair, but Boris treated it like it was his own. When I picked it up, it looked the best it has since brand-new(even better honestly).
The turnaround was unbelievably fast, the pricing was more than fair; The entire experience felt personal and reassuring. On top of the incredible repair work, the shop has a beautifully curated selection of vintage and secondhand jewelry that you won’t find anywhere else: unique, timeless, and full of character.
If you value quality, trust, craftsmanship, and a human touch, this is the place to go. Boris isn’t just repairing jewelry. He is preserving memories, restoring treasures, and reminding you why true artisans are irreplaceable.
Highly, wholeheartedly, forever recommending. 💎🤍
