Recommended!! There are really great people there, mostly working in design/art/architecure, and the place is ideally located subway/lunch restaurant/shops. I like that the spot has plenty of sunlight which can be rare in NYC!! It’s a human-sized coworking space that really fosters human interaction.
Common Practice Workshop is the best coworking space imaginable! It's an amazing office with wonderful people, great design, and a superb location. The open plan layout provides a lot of flexibility, the furniture is ergonomic, and there is lots of natural light. Three private rooms are available for conferencing and phone calls and there is a lovely, well-stocked kitchen. I love this place and have been happily productive and focused here for almost 3 years. I highly recommend it!
Common Practice Workshop is a thoughtfully designed, well-lit, and exceptionally well-managed shared office space in Manhattan. It attracts a diverse and inspiring group of small companies and freelancers including writers, artists, filmmakers, and architects.
The atmosphere is warm and focused and the welcoming energy is thanks to Greta Hansen, who manages the space with genuine care and professionalism. She has created a community that is both supportive and independent.

I've had the pleasure of working in this space for over 4 years and it's been an amazing experience.
The office is beautifully designed and has great natural light. The conference rooms are easy to reserve, and they're equipped with all the necessary amenities for productive meetings. And, most importantly, it's a friendly community full of creative people working on interesting projects.
Great airy bright quiet shared office space. Rent a desk and have use of conference room, kitchen, copier, wifi. It’s great for concentration with diligent people around, but also collegial. I rented for several months and got so much done. Run out for lunch to the exciting chaos of Chinatown, then back to the calm space.
