Jessica is an angel during the worst days of your life. She provided compassion, kindness, support and went above and beyond in many ways and that is the honest truth. Constant communication to make sure we were comfortable with everything, kept us updated as items arrived with photos so we could be sure everything arrived correct, answering us after hours, etc. etc. etc. She truly made us feel like we were texting a friend whom simply worked at the funeral home. I honestly can say I don't think there was anything else that she could have done to help us during our darkest days. Thank you Jessica from the very bottom of my heart
Schaefer has always took care of my family from my dad back in 98 to my father in law in 2015 to recently my mom in January. The whole staff is not only very compassionate, but also very helpful. The owner himself reached out to me when I lost my mother and was so helpful and kind. They all made the process very easy and went the extra mile for my mother They treated my family as their own. And I am so thankful for everyone from the owner to the staff for everything they did for my mother . They treat you as family and are always available to help. No matter the time. Losing a loved one is never easy, but the compassionate and professional care we received from Stephanie at Daniel J. Schaefer Funeral Home made an incredibly difficult time more bearable. Stephanie was kind, soft-spoken, and incredibly understanding, guiding us through every step of my sister’s funeral arrangements with warmth and patience. She made us feel comfortable and supported, which meant the world to us.
On the day of the wake, Michelle ensured that everything was perfect. Her attention to detail and dedication made the space feel welcoming and peaceful for those who came to pay their respects. The funeral home itself was spotless, beautifully arranged, and provided a cozy, comforting atmosphere.
I cannot recommend Daniel J. Schaefer Funeral Home enough for their professionalism, kindness, and the genuine care they show to grieving families. Thank you, Stephanie and Michelle, for your compassion and for making such a difficult time a little easier.
It's hard to rate a funeral home when your life is in shambles after your loved one dies, yet, Schaefer Funeral Home did such a fantastic job that I must make this review. Our family had to deal with two losses the weekend before Christmas. They handled these losses with such short notice and with such care and attention. I cannot stress enough they weren't trying to nickel and dime us. They were so caring and helpful. They were able to accommodate all of our wishes. I never want to deal with another loss, but now I know exactly where to hold arrangements if needed (god for bid). I cannot thank the staff (Brittany, Pat, etc) for all their help.

From the moment you retrieved her body from another state to the way you adorned her, she truly looked like a queen. We extend our gratitude to Ashley and Britney for their assistance with the necessary paperwork, the compassionate young lady who accompanied us during the funeral, and the hearse driver.
