It is impossible to fully express how thankful I am for this experience! I approached Dan 3 weeks before an impulsively-booked
snorkeling tour, explaining my fears and where I would like to be. Even with Dan’s encouragement that it would be enough time (with additional practice), I was unsure. Within two weeks with Matt and Benny, I was at the bottom of the pool, a place that used to terrify me. They taught me enough that I was swimming and snorkeling in the ocean without fear! Despite that success, I was struggling with the freestyle stroke and had accepted I would never learn it proper. Then I decided that I want to learn to surf so I went back to Benny and within two lessons, I was comfortably swimming full laps. It still shocks me that I can swim, it’s happened so quickly (10 total)! I hope I have a reason to come back some day 🌊
Ngl, I had some trouble with the owner at first but the workers are very passionate with what they do and really care about you meeting your goals. I went from not knowing how to swim 2 months ago from passing my Spec Ops swimming portion with one of the fastest times.
I can't recommend Dan's private swimming classes highly enough! As an adult learner, I was initially apprehensive about taking up swimming, but Dan's expert instruction and encouraging demeanor quickly put me at ease. He tailors each session to fit individual needs, ensuring steady progress and building confidence in the water.
I've had lessons with several different instructors here, and they are all incredibly helpful and professional. Each one brings their unique approach, but the consistent level of quality and dedication is truly impressive.
The pool itself is a fantastic setting for lessons—warm and inviting, which makes a huge difference during practice. Plus, it's never crowded, so you get the privacy and focus needed to improve without any distractions.

Mark is a wonderful instructor giving me a full understanding of each step in teaching me to be a swimmer. He is always there to give me comfort and over coming my fears. Dan’s Swim is giving me the confidence to become a great swimmer
