EDIT: after this review the owner was insistent on taking measures to improve my overall experience. They did come back and power wash my driveway to remove dust and debris, and he and the manager both followed up. As I said in my initial review, customer service is clearly important to them. I just wish the work had been as good as their intentions to begin with. If I had really wanted, I believe they would have redone the work entirely, but I didn't think that was a good idea since it's older brick and I didn't want to keep grinding it down and he agreed. I have added a star from my original three to reflect this.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Truly mediocre work.
The pricing was decent and the customer service was pleasant, but the work was barely average. This company operates under several websites and names, but to advertise as "brick pointing and masonry" and have your brick pointing work be poor is embarrassing. In the attached photos you can see the very obvious places they repaired versus the smoother older pointing (I could have done better myself), plus globs of mortar dropped (wet when spilled and then they dried in place) all over the place that has to be cleaned off, plus they broke multiple pots and planters (that I offered to move but they said I didn't need to) with falling debris and left a mess of spilled mortar all over the end of my driveway. There were other little points of fault, but it's not necessary to go on.
I wouldn't say "stay away" but I would certainly never suggest you stop your search here. I wish I hadn't.
