Empire Psychiatry

I moved back to New York and found this caring and kind people. Justin is my psychiatrist and I am just so happy with him. He is kind compassionate and is working with me to figure out the best way to help me. The staff is so kind to me. They understand that mental health issues are real and they want to help.

Does a good enough job with they do hire nurse practitioners to do the therapy side as well as medication there is one specific provider I had a less than desirable experience with Mcavoy he did not show any empathy did not show any form of interest in my situation or in my well-being I feel as though he was extremely dismissive like I was either a nuisance or a number. If you're looking for medication purposes for a temporary situation this is the place for you don't expect long-term support or empathy from this provider he obviously is in the wrong line of business and they should definitely consider getting rid of him or at the very least maybe put him in with quality assurance or something

I've only had but 1 session. My psychiatrist really was patient in listening and suggested a treatment that might fit well for me. I like that. Thank u.

I'm grateful to have met such a nice group of individuals that are all very thoughtful, understanding and friendly. I've been with the same Doctor (Maya) for a few years now and am happy with the relationship. Always on time. Future visits are scheduled at the end of our zoom meetings, creating comfort and knowledge. My doctor is always patient and cool when I need to chat and cool when I'm busy. Much love.

Dr Hannah Canary makes me put my guard down. She has been so kind, she listens and seems like she actually cares about her patients well being. Im still knew but I feel safe knowing she is my psychiatrist. Thank you
