I’m eight months late in writing this review, but I want to express my sincere gratitude to Gen Nishino for photographing our 50th class reunion.
Gen captured the event beautifully — the heartfelt reconnections, spontaneous laughter, and pure joy of classmates reuniting after 50 years — all while remaining unobtrusive and laid-back.
We couldn’t have asked for a better person to document such a meaningful occasion. These images are treasures we’ll cherish for years to come.

We did our engagement photoshoot with Gen and had an absolutely amazing experience! Our engagement photos turned out better than we could have imagined. He made us feel comfortable the entire time, had a great eye for lighting and location, and captured such genuine moments. The photos are beautiful, natural, and full of emotion. On behalf of the Southington High School Class of 1975. We would like to give a special thank you to photographer Gen Nishino. Mr Nishino travelled all the way from New York City to be present and on site for our 50th Year High School Reunion. The event was held at the Back Nine Tavern at the Southington Country Club here in Connecticut. From the time that Gen Nishino first arrived at the venue. He spent the next few hours taking some magnificent photos of our entire group of classmates. These photographs will help all of us to have some great memories of the special event. Gen photographed our son's wedding, and we could not be more thrilled with the results. Gen is a fabulous photographer, and was able to capture so many special moments without us noticing he'd taken the picture. He's a quiet, unobtrusive presence who knows exactly how to position himself to get the great photos. Besides being the consummate professional, Gen is a really lovely guy who understands how important this event is to you and your family. He is just great to work with, and i cannot recommend him highly enough (and my family will tell you that I have high standards, so I don't offer such unqualified praise often!).
