Had the best experience at Gotham!! I worked with Breonn and she was amazing! So sweet, professional, and made me feel totally at ease. Everything was set up and ready to go when I got there, and she gave such great direction throughout. It honestly felt like she cared just as much about the shoot as I did, which made all the difference. Huge thanks to Matt too for making the whole process super easy to set up. It was my first time using a professional studio to record mini episodes (specifically for social) and I would use them again in a heartbeat!
Had a marvelous experience shooting my latest podcast at Gotham Studios!! They are conveniently located in Midtown, which makes it super central. The building is very clean and well maintained.
I loved their waiting lounge it's very cozy, and the staff is just one button away.
The studio itself is perfectly illuminated, and they have professional equipment, making everything seamless. Also, the engineer was so sweet and helpful in getting us prepared. Overall the process was incredible, user-friendly, no need to know any technical skills or diy, as they send you the files directly to your email which is tremendously useful as opposed to having to bring your own sd card or hard drive. Also, the turnaround time was exceptional, I got my files in a few hours 😍 20/10 🙌🎙⚡️
we love filming at Gotham! We record weekly for our show Honey We’re Home and have been with them for almost a year! The team is so kind and helpful - the engineers are great and it makes our job easy. They help with set up, are extremely responsive, and the location is super accessible from all points of Manhattan as well as Hoboken and Jersey City (next to a port authority).
🏝️I absolutely love the team and recording rooms at Gotham! The owners have thought of every detail large and small, and you can tell they care deeply about the craft of producing high-quality audio. With the recording rooms, they have created an oasis of calm, and even more importantly for podcasters, quiet—smack in the middle of New York City.
☕️ I highly recommend getting to the block an hour before your session to have coffee across the street at Cafe Grumpy or The Drama Book Shop.
❤️ The team is always super friendly and responsive—I book here at least once a week to get away from any/all random noises that would interfere my recording sessions from my apartment (doorbell, dog barking, jackhammer, sirens, toilet flushing 😭). You're in great hands if you work with Gotham Production in any capacity!
As a producer I can't recommend Gotham Podcast Studio enough. I have launched two different podcasts with them and they are the utmost professionals at every level. They make the entire process run smoothly so that my clients can sit back, record and have fun creating their content. The studio is hip, clean and offers multiple rooms with beautiful aesthetics for the video portion of your session. The engineers are professional, accommodating and make everyone feel right at home. I highly recommend becoming a member and having them host and launch your podcast - it takes all the stress of launching off your plate.
