Peter from Greenwich Village Funeral Home was a tremendous help with the pre-planning of my father's funeral and burial services. He is very professional and knowledgeable of the whole process. I felt at ease working with him and his staff. When the time came to carry out the funeral/burial services for my dad, he made sure everything was the way I asked for. My family and I were very pleased with the final results, and I believe my father would have been happy as well. I highly recommend him and anyone of his staff to work with any pre-planning funeral/burial arrangements you may need.
I cannot begin to express my gratitude for the caring treatment my family and I received during our time of incredible grief. Knowing that during such a sad and stressful time the entire staff at the Greenwich Village Funeral Home were able to make the process (and my many requests) easier which gave us peace and strength.
Greenwich Village Funeral Home is the best to take care of your loved when the time comes. I had the pleasure to work with Jennifer and Joel on two different occasions. They both made the very stressful time very smooth and put me at ease. Their compassion and attention to detail is above anything you will experience. Jennifer helped me in June 2023, when my friend's mother passed and I was placed into the situation of having to take care of her funeral. She helped me through the process with an outstanding viewing and funeral. I then worked with Joel when my friend, a retired NYPD officer, passed in May 2024. He went above and beyond by calling the NYPD to have uniformed officers conduct the funeral of one of their fallen brothers. Both Jennifer and Joel have my full referral for any of your funeral needs they are the greatest!!
I wanted to express my gratitude for the experience my family recently had with Greenwich Village funeral home.In the difficult days after our loss, we were comforted by the genuine compassion and guidance shown by Peter , Jennifer , Jared and the entire staff. They were friendly, attentive and understanding as they guided us every step of the way ,helping create the serene atmosphere we wanted .Everything was done in a tasteful manner , including flowers ,music ,and the video display of photo memories .The room was set up beautifully . Everyone they recommended , from the florist , church musicians to limo services was exceptional . Their helpful nature made this trying time easier to bear . This funeral home has been great. They work with you, they are compassionate understanding people. Janice and Jennifer worked with us, helping us put everything together as painless as possible while we are still grieving. They showed their years of experience in this field helping us during this difficult time making me and my fiance feel we weren't alone. They made everything so easy. This is a Beautiful place, feels classy while giving our loved one the respect they deserve. They are warm caring people.
