I’ve been going to Hattan for a few years now. Amazing service all around. Last week, I had a last minute suit pant emergency before a wedding and they were able to take care of it same day. The staff always so nice and friendly. I recommend Hattan to everyone in the Gramercy area!
Hattan cleaners is the best! I make a special trip to have my clothes cleaned and altered here. The owner is kind and accommodating and Mo, the on-site tailor, has done many custom projects for me--he's great!
I was in a bind because the button fell off my favorite jacket. I frantically went to Hattan and they told me they would sew it back on. I came back thirty minutes later and it was perfectly done and they gave me the service complimentary. Best tailor and dry cleaner in the Gramercy area
They’re the best IN THE COUNTRY. In as many cities as I’ve lived or visited, I’ve never once met a BUSINESS—let alone just a cleaner/tailor shop—consistently deliver quality, white glove service without fail. Because of work plans and travel, I almost always end up giving them a rush job and not only do they accept it with grace and assurance, but they often even give me discounts for just being grateful that I’m trusting them enough. This is how you run a business. This is how you become and stay a neighborhood staple. Other businesses take note: Hattan is the gold standard.
Do not come here if you care about your beloved garments.
I had a vintage strapless dress dry cleaned here. They only use caped wire hangers, which means they don’t have a hanger to properly hold pants, strapless dresses, or anything that can’t hang properly on a caped wire hanger.
Their solution to this was to safety pin my dress to the hanger’s paper - which pierced multiple holes into my dress. I am heartbroken by my dress being ruined and the worker had the audacity to tell me that this is how dry cleaners work.
