My sister and I became fans of a bread which Sergimmo, a salumeria in Whitestone sells. My sister asked for the name of the wholesaler which is Il Forno Bakery located at 521 Faile Street, in the Bronx. Julian A. Gonzalez, the owner was so gracious, friendly and informative when we met him. We loved the different artisanal breads we tried but my favorite was the sesame encrusted sourdough loaf baked to a golden brown. My sister loved the baguette.
I can only hope that more retailers and restaurants will reach out to him and order his serious artisanal bread for their customers to enjoy! Good bread in a store or restaurant is an important measure of the owners interest in serving a customer the best quality they can.

Quite simply the best wholesale bakery in the Bronx. Their bread is always top quality. The staff is always friendly and just a pleasure to do business with. I will always choose them whenever I knead bread.
I buy their bread at Bottle King nearby in New Jersey. It's actually the best bread I've ever had hands down. Keep up the good work. You guys are amazing!!
