I took my friend here as a birthday gift to get her ears pierced, and we had such a great experience. Carly was our piercer and she was incredibly informative, patient, and professional throughout the entire visit.
My friend wanted two piercings in each ear and already had existing piercings, so there was some discussion about placement. Carly carefully talked through options with her, even suggesting an alternative placement my friend had considered but wasn’t sure would work with her ear shape and available space. My friend ended up going with Carly’s recommendation and was really happy with how it turned out.
She also helped us choose and match the jewelry, which made the whole process feel easy and personalized. My friend left absolutely thrilled with her piercings and the overall experience. Highly recommend Carly for anyone looking for a thoughtful and skilled piercer.
This place is really great! At 70 years old. I decided I wanted a second piercing in my ear and I was a little concerned about where to go. They were so professional, kind, Helpful and fun! Priscilla explained everything prior to doing the piercing and also the follow up care. Dylan and Ro were great as well. Definitely recommend.
Literally no one else I would trust with my ear, face, and body piercings than Carly!! They have pierced me over a dozen times and every time I’m blow away by their thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and technical skill. I recommend them to everyone who wants to get a piercing. I am extremely loyal to Iris Piercing studio - having gotten 9 gold pieces and 4 piercings (conch, nostril, helix, 3rd lobe) in the last year. The caliber of service and expertise from Carly & Priscilla is impeccable. When it comes to sizing, placement, and the delicate process of being pierced - you're in the best hands. Combined with how your initial piercing jewelry can be beautiful fine gold and precious stone jewelry is a huge YES for me. I have sent 3 friends here for several piercings and they have all had great experiences. My favorite designer they have is Pupil Hall jewelry. Having decked out my ears and nose, I feel like a fairy at all times.
I’ve been going to Iris for all my piercing needs for years, and they have definitely earned my loyalty! At this point I have over 20 holes pierced by this talented crew of people. I continue to be amazed by the level of craft, precision, attention to detail, and aesthetic taste of everyone who works there. Whether I’m coming in with an elaborate new piercing concept, need advice on re-styling something, want to design a new custom piece of jewelry, or just need my piercings changed/removed/cleaned, they are always enthusiastically available to help. By this point I think I’ve been pierced by nearly everyone in the shop, and just can’t say enough positive things about all of them. As a queer person, I always feel especially welcomed and relaxed by this crew of talented, funny, and kind piercers. Thank you all for being so great!
