We are renovating our bathroom and the bathtub we ordered from Home Depot got lost. Home Depot was zero help in solving this in a timely manner.
I called and spoke with Jico and he was so incredibly helpful, he saved the day! We were able to order the exact tub I needed and get it expedited for delivery. He also caught an error with the drain we had and helped us get the correct NYC code drain. So so so thrilled with their service and help.
Update!
The tub was delivered by 8:30 am THE NEXT MORNING!
The warehouse was so kind and helpful in giving us up to date travel info.
Do not order from Home Depot. Order from Jico!
Such a great experience in the NYC Kohler store. Jarred walked me through two bathroom renovations without any issues. Product was perfect, design support was helpful and quality was superior. I truly appreciated the friendly service I got from Jarred. Can’t wait to do my next job with him.
We had a great experience working with Kohler on our recent bathroom renovation. Jico was an excellent resource and guided us through all phases of the project both expertly and professionally. Products are top quality and reasonably priced, by today's standards. The bathroom looks and works great!
My experience here was not so different from your average Home Depot. The products are there but the salespeople evasive and not friendly. I had a number of questions about the products but first there was no one to help and then my questions were quickly answered or gestured to before the salesperson walked off like they had something better to do. I guess that’s what you get for a mid-tier brand…too bad. Instead of elevating the brand, my experience here tainted it. Was looking to furnish my renovation with Kohler now will probably go elsewhere. Ended up wandering around and answering my own questions with the help of my phone. Should have just stayed home and shopped online. I’ll give it to them that the showroom is clean and the products looked nice there. The service, however, leaves room for improvement.
The Kohler NYC Experience Center is an absolute standout—and a must-visit if you’re renovating. The showroom itself is stunning, with beautifully curated with everything on display. Which really help you visualize how products will look and function in your space.
What truly set our visit apart was Tierra Porter, the showroom manager. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure we found exactly what we needed. Tierra guided us through the many options with clarity and patience, offering expert insight while staying attentive to our style and budget. Her professionalism and warmth made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable.
If you’re looking for top-tier fixtures and even better service, Kohler NYC—and Tierra in particular—should be your first stop. The showroom gets busy so make sure you seek her out.
